I think they have some OK server units, that's why I left them out :)  I could be wrong though.

Thermaltake. Its not a bad brand but it seems to always be to short of the mark when it comes to psu design.I consider it a bad brand because of the publication they get. They are very heavily publicized brand but in fact most of there things are rubbish.

Tt is most certainly a brand but far from the worst. Like CM the sell many models and many are crap.... but some are quite good:
Thermaltake Toughpower XT 775W Review
The only real problem is the price when compared to similar units from Corsair and Antec... and it's actually at a good price currently.

I refuse to recommend Tt and CM PSUs usually because of the deliberately confusing model numbering and naming they engage in.

Edit: If my first line or two is confusing ghnader, it's because I misread your post just a bit... we are more in agreement than I originally thought.

Let's see: Logisys, rocketfish (BB brand), topower, sparkle (server units are good tho), Silverstone (for me, I can never keep one from exploding, regardless of wattage).

4 different silverstone units from 350W (HTPC) to 750W (gaming tower), and all exploded taking something else with em.

P.S. multiple different Antec PSU's, only had one die that was due to dirty power (germany is notorious for this btw, and it was only one).

While different, modern era SS units are quite good.

Am in agreement with ghnaderhsmithot. Nothing more cynical than a manufacturer which have a good advertising unit and which happen to swear on quality with their other products constantly putting out crappy PSU's which actually is the most important component inside a PC. My vote goes to the coolermaster.

I feel the same way about OCZ. Last I checked they had 4 different lines. One was pretty good, one was so-so. The other two were excessively mediocre. :)

Has sparkle gone downhill in the last 10 years or just simply not advanced? I must have missed something, 2002 they were high end.

They did, but are coming back now. They have new high end units made by Great Wall with good performance. There are a lot of Super Flower and Great Wall built PSUs now that compete quite well with Seasonic for performance... they just don't have the track record yet.

Wow, Diablotek seems to have a strong start in the race to last place

Have you ever seen a good Diablotek review? Their PSUs blow up half way to what they are supposed to be able to do.

Its why I voted for them. CM or TT doesn't make sense in this case as they make some good PSUs. What good PSU does Diablotek make? Anyone?

You should have had an option for "All the above" 'cause that's what my answer would be.
