1090T 4/6

I recently downgraded my cpu to four cores on boot with msconfig, to play F1 2010, which doesn't support 6+ core processors.
however, after getting bored of the game, I wanted to switch back to 6 cores, but they're not showing up in msconfig, or cpuz, even though it still shows my processor as being a 1090t. I've checked in my bios as well, and all 6 cores are active there.
any help is appreciated.
