Additional Comments: I've got some ideas of parts, missing case and power supply so far. Just wondering what others think, and if I could do cheaper or better than what I have listed. The ones I have listed come to $439 with no case or power at the moment. Thanks.

you could get better game performance with an i3-2100 for $130 and a H61 motherboard for $80 (w/ USB 3 & SATA 3).

Get an inexpensive case, like the Xigmatek Asgard II ($30), HEC Blitz ($40), Sentei Black Box ($45) or the Rosewill Destroyer ($50) with 120mm fans.

the GTX 460 768 will be plenty of GPU at your resolution, but consider getting teh 1 GB version or the HD6850 if you can swing the extra $30 or so.

a 450-550W PSU will be adequate. Right now the OCZ Fata1ty 550W PSU is on sale for $40, but only for a couple days
