Corsair xm3 question

i bought 2gb times 2 corsair xm3 ddr3 1600 ram. I when i look at other corsair xm3 ddr3 1600 ram it has a slightly different color. I am wondering if i got more corsair ram that had all the same specs as mine it would work fine. I think the color might be just a minor change but i am not sure that it is not a whole different type of ram.

check their timings if they are same which they probably are you are fine

will the ram work together if i mix two 4gb and two 2gb with the same timing and speeds.

yup but you might have to keep swaping them around a few times to get em to work in dual channel

if I put two completely different types of ram in will it work if the are in different channels.

im runing 2X2gb 1600mhz adatas and 2X4gb 1333 teams and my computer is runing fine , so i guess yes lol
