Which PSU do you recommend?

My specs:

Intel i7 860 2.80 GHz
8GB of Ram
Geforce GTS 240
Windows 7 64bit
Intel Stock Fan
500GB hard drive

Current PSU: 350 Watts


I have recently encountered some problems with my computer while gaming. Whenever I'll be playing high FPS games, my monitor and sound will suddenly turn off and stop working and only my tower is running with the fan on full blast (forced to shut-down). Will changing the PSU or fan change fix the problem? My idle temperatures are in the 40-50's and while gaming it goes up to 60.

If you are not running a quality PSU in your rig then you should anyway change it. Your problem though seems to be of a failing motherboard as sound (assuming you are running on-board) is not dependent on the PSU directly.

Now that should be well below 400 watts.. however for overhead we will get you a cx430. You probably have a bad psu... which is not good.
