Hello,being disabled i was pleased to install 8 gb of new ddr3 ,xms3 memory but only 4 gb shows in my system

Did you check the motherboard specs first? It may have a limit of 2 gb per slot. Also windows 32 bit has a 3-4 gb limit.

did not check mb spec,dont no how,,, but running 64 bit win 7
it has 4 gb stick in one slot,,hope this helps me being complete new to this sort of thing

What motherboard are you using?

Also try one stick at a time to rule out a dead stick. If it is dead, it wont boot and should have a beep error code.
