How do you make a sd mini card NOT READ ONLY? Please do not tell me to use an adapter. Yes the adapter has an unlock switch on it but once the mini is taken out of adapter it is READ ONLY

There is NO attribute option in the General tab as in other data properties.

SO you are saying that the mini card is ALWAYS Read Only UNLESS in an adapter with a lock/unlock switch.
I know that much for now, I want the mini card to be able to store data on my phone, but the phone shows read only for the mini card

Probably because your phone does not have 'write' capability.

YES the phone has write and copy and past (Palm 755P) but it says the mini card is read only.
HAVE YOU EVER TRIED SAVING ON THE MINI SD CARD WITHOUT USING AN SD ADAPTER?

In such cases, REFER TO THE MANUAL!

I DID
NOTHING but that there is a mini SD Card Slot
NOTHING on using it.

OH have you ever tried what I asked - about saving to a mini card without an adapter?
Can't be done.

I save using either my built-in card reader (in my computer), or a USB card reader if I need to save it to a different computer.

There has to be a way for the data to be 'readable' to the computer, and the card reader performs that function (interface). You are right; the card is nor intended to be used in the manner described. At some point, features must be limited on products.
