Why am I seeing colored dots on my monitor and printed pictures?

When you say "printed pictures" do you mean when you print something out.. you're getting coloured dots on it?

If you have coloured dots all over your screen that's often artifacts from a failing graphics card, but if you're getting them when printing also then something is seriously wrong lol.

Where are the dots, what do they look like, does it happen always and can you show a picture of your monitor (either screenshot or photo)?
