Is 850W enough?

ok plans.
i am thinking of getting a second 570 this week, then doing two step ups to 580 in about 2 months.
will a 850W PSU drive them both, 2 580's? or do i need 1000?
i blew up my old 600W with a 570 and a 8800GTS512 g92.
current PSU is a thermaltake black widow. it was a hail mary to replace the one that blew, and i still have 3 weeks to take it back to worst buy.
so do i take it back and drop in a 1000 or 1200?

Judging by that, sounds like I would deffinitly get better PSU. Not because of the watts, but becuase its not a very quality PSU. While you're upgrading though, I would get a good quality 1000w PSU for that build rather than another 850. Although a good quality 850w PSU might suffice.

yea i agree with rolli59 that PSU should be more than enough, stick with corsair for PSUs pretty good quality.
