I see several used Thinkpads with 256 megs of ram on ebay. About
how much should I pay for one of these? Thank you in advance for
all replies.

I used to think that most MDs were incompetent morons. I was wrong,
they are actually very intelligent and good at what they do which is
make lots of money and get lots of prestige by shoveling enormous
amounts of BS very, very rapidly.

Take a look at the completed items and that should give you a clue about
what's reasonable to pay. Watch out for shipping charges - some ebayers
charge higher shipping charges to reduce the amount that ebay charges for
the sale.

Since memory isn't the only important factor and since IBM made a lot of
thinkpad models You should provide at least _which_ models You're looking
at. And better include at what CPUs, displays and peripherals You want,
too...
