I have to build new pc for my cousion. But i have three option for mobo for i3-2100.
Which one is better mobo from below?

Gigabyte GA-H61M-S2P-B3 (rev. 1.0)
Asus P8H61M-LE
Asus P8H61M PLUS V2

Also tell me your experience with asus and gigabyte. I currently use i3-2100 and my mobo is Asus P8H61M PLUS V2. System is working fine but there is not enough options for overclocking.
I will buy ati radeon 5670 ddr5 1gb card for my system. Please notify me if any of the above mobo doesn't support it.

Solution
Get 2500K and this mobo instead.

ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

HardwareMX Editor's Chioce Award

I build 2 PC's with this one and easily OC'd to 4.4GHz.

It has ton of features, its Z68 and it has DNA from ASUS : ))

$129.99

any of those boards would be fine with the i3 2100 & HD 5670. both the i3 series cpus and h61 boards do not allow for much if any overclocking. the only difference i see is that both the asus have the gpu boost, which you probably know about, but the gigabyte doesn't have.

i was going to ask if you couldn't at least get a H67, has usb3 and sata 6Gbs.

though not that anything is wrong with that board, just to let you know it has:
4 +2 Phase Power Design as opposed to 16 Phase Power Design (12 -phase for CPU, 4 -phase for iGPU)

having 8 phases more on the CPU would help the overclock substantially. you could still OC on the LX but you would not be able to get as high as the upper range would be like for someone with a more expensive motherboard. (like that one for $179.- ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3)

can you get this? $104.99

A negative with that Mobo is the single GPU slot. Kind of limits your expansion abilities. For $25.00 more I'd go with nikorr's suggestion over this one. Didn't know about the whole Phase Power Design thing so thanks alot for that looniam.

I know that you were asking the OP and that was my opinion of what you asked him. The only part of my statement that applied to you was the thanks for the Power Phase thing. :non: back atcha!

that was all strictly tongue in cheek though you prolly got that.
(plus i should have called it a night HOURS ago the sun is coming up!!!)
but seriously lets have the OP have a look see. he started with about $300 for cpu, mobo and grfx. (i3 2100 H61 board and 5670)

within a few posts a ton of posters will be suggesting a $800 rig! :pt1cable:

and always happy to help.

I know that. No offense taken.
And what a gorgeous day it's gonna be here in the east.

You are so right! He'll be lucky if that's all it'll be!

I'm new here but I can tell that already. Have a good one. :D
