firefox vs ie

anyone any views on whether IE is better than firefox? My wee mate says its faster but I'm not sure. It may be more secure but is it a good change to make?

Answering that will likely turn into a giant flame war. It is mostly based on personal preference at this point. If you like the look and feel of IE use IE, if you like the look and feel of FireFox use FireFox.
Give it a try, you don't like it dump it.

Both are pretty good brower.
Both are free.
I just keep both of them on my computer.
