Ddr2-667 vs ddr2-400

Hello,

I have an Asus mother board & using one 512MB DDR-400 RAM. I want to install another 1GB DDR-400 RAM. But not getting on in market. One which is available: 1GB DDR2-667.
My question is will 1GB DDR2-667 RAM will be compatible with the mother board slot where 512MB DDR-400 RAM can be used.

No.

Unless you have a mobo with both DDR DDR2 supported. But then you can still only use DDR or DDR2 at a time.
