RAM settings and BIOS startup issue

I have 2 questions.

I have 1600 MHz RAM (Corsair Vengeance). In the mobo, the default is the 1333 - do I just change that setting in the bios to 1600? No need to change any other values?

Also, when I start up, it always runs through the boot screen twice. It goes boot screen (with a B2 or something in the lower right corner that after a few seconds flashes 99, A2, or something like that), then restarts, then goes to the RAID splash screen, then back to the bios screen, then starts windows. It doesn't cause any problems, but trying to find out if that is normal or I have some setting in the BIOS incorrect.

Set up:
ASRock Z68 Extreme 4 Gen 3
i5-2500k, 4.3GHz oc
Corsair Vengeance - 1600MHz 8GB
320GB HDD in RAID with 32 GB SSD using the Z68 accelerate (SSD caching) function

Probably unrelated but also have a 6870 graphics card, standard DVD RW drive, and OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W PSU.
