I would like to have buy a P67 but it seems that the 1155 are sold out at the moment.I have posted one in the links to show you what i was thinking but im still a little over my budget so i may need to come down some. Also im not 100% sure if everything works together but again that is why im posted here and would appriciate any help before i start ordering from Newegg. Also I'm i missing anything?

More about build
  1. You could save some money with this:

Your parts list seems pretty well thought out. Do you have a CD\DVD Drive? And for OCing you will need a cooler, a good budget cooler is a Cooler Master Hyper212+, you can always buy that later if you are unsure about OCing.

If you do SLi you will be limited to 8x 8x instead of 16x 16x, which would be about a 3% performance decrease.
  2. Well, you'll want a Disc drive. Those are only about $20 though. Also, for Windows 7, get the OEM editions, it'll save you $80 and the only thing you don't get is the fancy plastic case, and the useless support form Microsoft. Everything else looks compatible. Lastly, If you are going to overclock you will NEED and after market CPU cooler. I recommend the Cooler Master Hyper 212+ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065&Tpk=212%2b
  3. Thx for the reply. Ive edited my post to reflect a change in the cd/dvd drive and changed the windows software to the OEM. Im still about $100 dollars over budget and thinking maybe i could make a change in Motherboard (Which i;m not even sure is best for me as is) and a change in Case ( thinking maybe a Mid tower)

The case alone will save me $50
Maybe some suggestions on Motherboard and video cards?
  4. The 902 V3 is also a good case.

There are cheaper motherboards but they would cripple future SLi or Crossfire capability (second slot will only run at 4x)

The GPU you listed has a 20 dollar MIR which would bring it down to 339.99

This is a non overclocked version for 319.99
  5. There are a lot of good ~$150 P67 motherboards out there with 8x/8x. Check out this and see if it fits your needs. Link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130582

With that and the GPU savings people have linked you should be at around $1400 now. Good luck.
  6. OK iv'e decided to go with the MSI P67A-G45 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 that Dyer recommended and have added the Cooler Master Hyper 212. I'm sitting at $1493 with the COOLER MASTER HAF 932 Advanced RC-932 $159.98 I'll need to cut at least another $50 out of this build and the only place i see to do this is at the tower. I would like to get some recommendations on full tower cases for about $100 but if i have to i can move down to the Nine Hundred Two V3 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case for $109..???
    Maybe http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811517004??
  7. If you like the design of the Cooler Master HAF series of cases, there are the HAF 912, and the HAF 922. They are both mid towers but both very nice cases. I have the HAF 912 and it fits my Radeon HD 6950 (about 11 inches) GPU. In this case you can remove 5 HDD bays to fit very long cards.

  9. Here's $40 and front USB 3 ports .. Antec 902 V3

Another $10 Corsair XMS w/ lower latency to boot

    Another $45 .... 750 watter for one card ? XFX XXX 650

If ya do SLI 560's .... this 750 is $110 and is a match for the Corsaie HX and far superior to the Corsair TX,

Twin 570's will need an 850 watter at $129 ... you did say that maybe ya wanted to do SLI and this is what you'll need to do that with the 570's

All the Black's get 10.0 performance ratings at jonnyguru.com

I'd spend $5 more on the cooler with the Scythe Mugen 2 which beats the 212 by 7C

    Don't forget TIM
  10. Iv'e made a few change. Changed to an I7 and Diff mother board for 60 more dollars.
