Which ram is better. This or this?

I just want an opinion on two peices of ram that i have access to.
My mother board is an ASUS P5B DELUXE, its takes ddr2 800 max.

Anyways here is what my options are:

Which a buddy of mine who owns a hardware store can give to me for free cuz its laying around.

I have ONLY those two options. thats it.

this is just a junk computer im putting together from old parts, maybe gonna use it for a dedicated game server or something fun lan gaming i dunno.

Anyways .... first ram or second. Please compare the two as i have no clue about anything ram related. Thanks

The second one is the best, I think, since it is free you have nothing to lose though.

If I were you I would go for the second one, definitely

Speed-wise you will not see much difference, but the second one is Corsair, a known good brand.

They will be identical as far as anything but a memory specific benchmark is concerned.

Both are DDR2 800, the corsair is slightly looser timings at 5-5-5-18 vs 5-5-5-15 but thats pretty irrelevant, if you only have one stick of each i would put them both in and run it in dual channel.

You showed us the wrong CPU-Z tab, the one next to it (SPD) shows the actual memory installed. But those are both DDR2-800 CAS 5, or at least that's the way your BIOS is currently set.
