Sony Vaoi K23 Fuction Keys No Work

I have had a Vaio K23 since September 2004, however since I installed
XP-Pro, I haven't been able to use any of my function keys that control
my color, brightness, sound, etc. Any suggestions out there? I'm
racking my brian on this.

Go to Sony's support site and download the Sony Shared Library:
http://esupport.sony.com/perl/swu- [...] e=Original

Once you have the shared library installed you'll be able to use your
recovery CD's (you did make a set before blowing away XP Home???).

From your Recovery CD's install the Hotkey Utility.

If you didn't make a set of Recovery CD's you'll need to purchase a set from
Sony's Direct Parts and Accessories Center:
http://servicesales.sel.sony.com/w [...] e=Computer

At $11.95 plus tax (if applicable) and shipping, you can't go wrong and
you'll have a complete recovery set for XP Home (minus 3rd party
applications), should you later decide to sell your computer.
