Modem dials up, but no internet

My Modem Dials up and connects to more than one ISP but I can't access internet using any browser or any program, I reinstalled all networks S/W and Windows, but there is no change.

click start, search command, open command prompt, type in : netsh winsock reset
This worked for me, it was a lot of headache.
btw it only works if you are SURE TO BE CONNECTED.
