Any advice on a new build?

hey guys I am new to the forum just wondered if you could help,

I am planning to build a new pc for gaming/ general web surfing ect. The specs I have thought out so far are:

Intel Desktop Board DQ57TM Executive Series

GIGABYTE GV-N440TC-1GI NVIDIA GeForce GT 440 Graphics Card

Intel Core i5-750 Quad Core 2.66GHz 8MB Processor

I don't need anything too fancy just want to play latest games without difficulty, I would like to keep the cost below £400 and I already have case DVD/CD drive and HDDs, but will have to buy ram and psu. Any advice for any improvements?

  1. the 1156 socket ig goin to die soon like 775 did either wait for am3+ or get sandy bridge
what monitor res are you running?
  2. Budget? Check out my build for 450$ or 600$, give you way more performance.

The GT 440 is utter crap by the way.

Ok well what graphics card would you recommend for around the same price (approx £80 - that's British pounds not US dollars)

Youed, what processors would you recommend for about the same price and I usually prefer Intel if that's possible.
  4. +1 youed
For 400ish quid u really could do far far better than a GT440 and hit a full on ATX/OCable platform capable of AM3+ chip support so

442quid, remove case, hdd/odd and its all good (371 quid) ^^
