I can`t decide between two notebooks,both are Asus,and have 8gb of ddr3 memory, 750 gb HDD,
but with Intel I get Nvidia GT540 2gb ddr3, and with AMD I get Radeon HD 6650M 1GB GDDR3, HD 6520G APu Hybrid CrossFireX™..I really need help..I looked the benchmarks,I7 is better CPU,but AMD comes with better graphics.. My english is not at its best :D

Well do you want it to play games or do you want to save time rendering, etc (productivity)

If you like to play games go for the AMD system. If you want to save 10 secs on encoding something go for the i7.

The 2630QM rig is far better. The i7 is a much better processor, and the 540m GT is on par with the 6650m

ok, one vote for AMD and one for Intel :D
In 3d marks11, AMD configuration gets more points, but in AIDA64 Intel crushed AMD.

And the A83500m has a built in gpu 6520 which has the ability to run in crossfire mode together with that laptops HD6650 gpu making it superior in games to the 540 on its own in

I have an Asus N53Jf and the battery life is around 3H (using the Intel HD, that is). When playing videos on the go (battery) it's usually around 120 minutes (720p is 120mins, 1080p is like 90mins) since I use shader effects, post processing and all.

I'd say the A8 crushes those numbers, since my lil' sister's lappy (Athlon II 2.2Ghz + 4250) plays 1080 content on battery with 140mins and time to spare (with some filters off, though). I'm taking my bet stating that the A8 should be around 4H on video playback on battery alone. That's assuming a 48Wh battery, off course.
