New htpc advice needed.

Okay, im building a htpc so I can get rid of both my blueray player and dvd/home theater player.

Im hooking this all up to my 32inch tv its only 720p So i think my cpu/apu should be able to handle all movies/shows at that resolution. Deciding if i should go 4gb of ram and get 64bit os. And what other things should i need to hook this up to my tv and cable box? I would like to connect 5.1 speakers that i have from my old theater box that blew up and was wondering if theres a sound card i can attach to this to have stereo speakers on it? And would the speakers also work on the TV to play with 5 speakers stead of the tv speakers.

What are the audio outputs on the TV? Does it have HDMI connectivity?

Oh hey WR2 ive seen you in the laptop section lol but yea it has HDMI connectivity two of them exactly; one for both the htpc and my cable box. I have 3 things that use hdmi which i wanna eliminate two of them by building this machine. Ima read the review but I would have to install three things a tv tuner, sound amp card and wireless card. And also have the hd connections and ywr connectiong and I have a headphone jack on the tv.
