Couple od days ago I installed Asus HD 6850
It works fine with Asus drivers (from CD). Its old version 8.782 - 2010/10/7
All would be fine but I have great video playback problems
Its like most of videos are interlaced. And low quality videos (even flash ones) are blocky - much worse than with my old nvidia 8800
So I decided to instal original ATI drivers - but same happens even with new 11.1
- Card is recognised as 6800 (generic)
- Windows claims it found new audio device but can not find drivers for it ?!
- Most of the games do not recognise the card as modern graphic card ( Fallout 3 New Vegas - will autoset the graphic to lowest quality )
- In most of the games graphic is wrong ( visual problems )
So i had to return to old Asus drivers
PLEASE HELP!!!!
My system is WinXP 32, and my mobo is Asus P5K
p.s
I read lot of people complaining about blocky video playback in 6800 series !
And than the posts cease.... Did they found solution ?
Is it hardware problem ? Is my gfx card broken ?
Some suggested using different cable ? Could this fix it ?
Anyway HELP!!!!
