hey guys, I just got my new computer in the mail from newegg, and am having some major problems.

When I first booted it up, it began to do it's first time windows load, when I got a BSOD of 0x0000004E and it shut down. Upon restart I got to the point where it tells me " windows was interrupted upon installation, install will proceed after restart" it then restarts and does the same thing. If I shut it off and turn it back on I get the page on choosing to boot normal or in safe mode, but I never get the bios options, as I have the windows 7 SP1 cd that came with.

the model of computer I'm using is shown here:

any help is much appreciated.

Quite possibly a memory problem, as several possible solutions recommend booting with one stick of memory at a time, or using a memory test utility.

I agree, usually this means a memory problem, but on a side note this same issue was caused by a freaking sony DVD burner i had installed. I took that computer to peices to find the issue, who'd have expected a SATA DVD burner. I formatted via a flash drive and sent the dvd burner back to newegg
