I am using a Core unlocker for my CPU, and have unlocked 2 extra cores on my phenom x2 555 be.

However, my Temperature sensors are no long working, as indicated by Coretemp.

All 4 cores are at 0 degrees consistently, and when feeling the heatsink after shutting down the computer, there's warmth, and that cant be 0 degrees.

I've also overclocked my cores to 3.9ghz.

Thanks Toms.

Any time you unlock cores it will cause the thermal censors to stop recording correctly. With some CPUs it will be permanent and with others once you lock back up the added cores it will then give the correct readings again.

The only solution is to get a core temp by locking the core back up and then comparing the core temps to the CPU temp. By using the CPU temp as a reference you can get a somewhat ballpark idea on what the core temps are once you unlock the additional cores.
