" Maybe the case has an esata port and the sata cable would be to connect it to your motherboard. Thanks. The case does not have an esata port. The cable originates in the drive bay area. There is also a 4 pin power connector coming out of the same area. Upvote 0 Downvote

It does not mention the cable. But it says additional CP05 adapters can be purchased to make all SATA drives hot-swappable. I guess that implies the SATA cable is for hot-swapping like TheDuke suggested. Upvote 0 Downvote
