Hello,
Graphics-intensive games like Oblivion and Starcraft 2 seem to crash on my computer. I suddenly get fuzzy colours, the screen goes into standby and the game freezes. Sometimes the computer simply restarts on its own.
Message I get: http://img638.imageshack.us/i/45861502.png/
Message I get if I try to re-run the game: http://img191.imageshack.us/i/41817364.png/
Specs: Intel 2.4GHz dual-core, ASUS P5K motherboard, x2 1MB DDR2 Corsair memory, ATI 4890 video card, Windows XP Pro 32-bit PS3.
1. Monitor refresh rate is not exceeded (75 Hz).
2. All the cords plugged in.
3. Computer is clean of dust.
4. Plenty of virtual memory.
5. CPU seems to be underclocked (core speed = 1.6GHz).
6. Temperature is <50 degrees for all components.
7. Low-level games don't crash.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you for help!
