Resolution doesnt show up when connecting laptop to monitor

Hi, I'm having a wierd issue with my LCD monitor. I have been connecting it to my HP laptop for some time now, maybe 2 months, and the monitor's native resolution is 1400X900. For some reason, when I came home today, the plug on the monitor had fallen out, and when i plugged it back in and turned on the laptop, it was a funky resolution.

Now when I go to the Screen Resolution in windows 7, 1400X900 is not even there, or in ATI control center. My drivers are current. I dont know why all of the sudden it decided to do this. Whats funny is that the same thing happened when I first plugged the laptop into my monitor, but I figured it out that time, and I forgot what I did

Nevermind, got it fixed, the VGA cord was tightly plugged in, and it wasnt recognizing my monitor. Sometimes I tend to overlook the simple things
