Hi, i am very new to this forum and currently I have 1 stick of ddr2 ram running at 667. My motherboard allows me to have dual channel memory. I have read that the two sticks of memory have to be exactly he same for the dual channel memory to work. So my question is, can I add another stick of ram that has the same specifications and put it in the other slot? or do I have to go out and buy dual channel memory?

You can buy just one stick of memory, so long as it matches your existing stick, and have it work as dual channel - no problem.
