Motherboard suggestions?

I'm looking for a motherboard that will run an AMD X2 processor and 6GB of 1600 triple channel memory. I have some scrap parts from an older build that I would like to put together to make a build for my kids. Nothing fancy or fast with bells and whistles. I can list the part numbers and links to newegg if needed. Thanks in advance!

Triple channel memory with an x2 CPU? What are you smoking?

Triple channel is only for LGA1366 Intel CPUs. You have to do dual channel (2 sticks at a time).

Go to newegg, filter motherboards by your socket type, then look for one that takes DDR3. I know there is an AM3+ board that will, but not sure about ones for AMD X2.
