I'm piecing together a build for a friend that lives in the UK. I'm from the US and of course I know and have my favorite american retailers I turn to for my pc hardware related needs but I don't know diddly about where to look for a good UK retailer. I know retailers like tiger direct ship internationally and we'll go that route if need be but I was wondering if anyone could point me to a quality UK based retailer so my buddy can save some cash on shipping costs.

I'm sure I don't need to tell anyone here what I need in a retailer but something comparable to newegg as far as costs (component prices as well as shipping costs). We're not working with an unlimited budget here so I figured this would be the best place to ask for advice on a good UK retailer.

Thanks fellas! (and ladies)

As in the US, it pay's to "shop around" in regards to UK retailers. The cheapest for cpu's is normally "Aria Pc", for free shipping "ebuyer".

Here's a list of the major ones that I know of...
