I recently ordered a RAM upgrade for my Acer Aspire 5560G Sb468 laptop off Newegg. I was planning to upgrade to a G.SKILL 1333 MHz module once it went on sale; but I saw a 1600 MHz 8gb laptop memory module on sale in one of Newegg's exclusive e-mail deals today so I decided to order that one.
Acer support wasn't really helpful in determine this, but I'm wondering if I would be able to run it at 1600 MHz or if I would have to go into BIOS and set it to run at 1333 MHz.
The max bandwidth for the laptop is PC3-10600 (CPU-Z), 667 MHz, x2 = 1333 MHz. I can set it to run at 1333 MHz through BIOS, right?
thanks!
