Solution

I agree with anort3 ^ and u can get one like this.

I recommend CORSAIR Vengeance 99% of the time, quality RAM and low profile with XMP profile. And if u will get an aftermarket CPU cooler, low profile is the worry free remedy with perfect fit with any large cooler.
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

Vengeance Low Profile heat spreaders have a reduced height of 1.03" (26.25mm). They're designed for high-performance systems...

Memory makes no difference when overclocking a Sandy Bridge system. Since the memory controller is on the CPU there is no benefit to having very high speed memory. The best option is 1.5v DDR3 1600 cas 9.

Vengeance Low Profile heat spreaders have a reduced height of 1.03" (26.25mm). They're designed for high-performance systems with extra-large CPU coolers, small form factor system builds, or any other space-constrained application where standard Vengeance memory might not fit.

Thanks anort3 and nikorr, you have both been helpful in supplying me with the proper answer for my needs. I will check out the Newegg site for the Corsair memory advised. I use Corsair in my machine and have no problem adding memory.

nikkor, I attempted to order the corsair memory from new egg that you recommended but it was not listed so I ordered this in it's place. Hope I made the right decision. Listed at $24.99 4GB.

CORSAIR Vengeance 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9B
Item #: N82E16820145346

It is pretty much the same RAM inside.

I hope that you don't use an extra-large CPU cooler, that might reach over the 1st RAM slot.

If u are on stack cooler, you are just fine.
