My asus rampage formula 3's ez plug pins came out when i was removing the connection so I won't be able to use it anymore. Right now i am using a gtx 470. I was planning to get a 2nd 470 very soon and i was wondering if the ez plug was necessary for 2way sli or just 3. I also heard that its only if your psu is low wattage but I am not sure if that is accurate.

I have an 800w psu. Can I still run 2 way sli without any issues?

Quote:
ASUS provides a feature called EZ-Plug, which lets you plug a standard four-pin peripheral power connector into the motherboard next to the PCI-E slots. ASUS says this will let the board operate with older 20-pin PSUs when two videocards are installed.

If you have a 24 pin power connector, you shouldn't worry about it.
