Recommendations for a 500-600w PSU?

Also, what do you think think about the Corsair CX600 psu? I have the chance to get one for $40 brand new from someone locally, but he responds really really slowww...

IMO the Antec unit linked by Obsidian is better compared to the Corsair CX 600. It also has a higher output wattage rating (576W compared to 480W on the Corsair). Here's another good PSU for your budget and requirements -

All the units listed (by me and Obsidian) are priced the same as the Corsair CX 600 V2 at newegg.

20 bucks is 20 bucks yeah it seems like a good deal either way but xfxpro and antec neo are a step up from the corsair cx series

The CX600 is being sold locally by someone off CL for $40; the item is brand new and sealed in package.

I wouldnt mind going for the Antec or XFX if the Corsair wasnt there, but since it is... I think I'm going to go that route. I don't need too much power since all my components are low power consumption so This will work for now.

CL, forget it, wouldnt go there even if they had the receipt and all. You will have trouble returning it if there are problems.....

I picked up the CX600 a while back and it was brand new and everything works great!

Now I'm looking for more power (700-800) as I'm ready to upgrade... AGAIN!
