Can i play gta IV without nvidia or ati video card

Hello,
i dont have a graphic card in my computer and i have installed GTA 4. i can start the game but the screen that appears when the game starts is blur and black. how can i fix this problem?

first off for gta4 to be playable you need a graphics card..

secondly,can you post your entire system setup?

system setup
k..i have windows 7, 250 gb hard disk, 2 gb ram, intel c2d, 32 bit operating system.

i increased the virtual memory also to 4000.

i got this software also 3 d analyse but it wont work with gta.

Which video card do you have right now? If you're getting one, make sure to get at LEAST a HD 5770 for reasonable graphics and smooth gameplay. Secondly that c2d will be an undesirable component when you're looking to run a title like GTA 4 as the game is poorly coded for the PC so it takes a lot to run. So a quad core would be a nice upgrade.

i dont know if i have any video card...
i havent used my laptop for games till now and gta 4 is the first game...

anyways, i think i'll have to buy a new laptop with all upgraded things.

thnx anyways.

I know that you have made up your mind but just to throw info out there. There is S3 and they have DX10 cards on the market and there is also MATROX but doubtful that they are game worthy as they focus on high quality 2D use.
