I'm looking to build my first gaming PC, but I don't really know where to start. I've been looking at using the Intel 2500K CPU and an EVGA GTX 560 Ti, but apart from that, I'm lost. Assistance would be greatly appreciated, and my budget is around $1000.
This $949 build is based upon the Asus P8P67Pro returning to stock on newegg in the very near future. Case, PSU and MoBo were selected so as to house a 2nd GFX card in SLI at some point in the future w/o making any other changes:

The factory OC'd 560 Ti's perform very close to the 570's. Guru3D uses the following games in their test suite, COD-MW, Bad Company 2, Dirt 2, Far Cry 2, Metro 2033, Dawn of Discovery, Crysis Warhead.
