GTX 570 Retention?

Just installed my GTX 570 into an ASUS P8P67 PRO which is in an Antec Twelve Hundred. Does the video card just sit in the motherboard? Nothing comes down to hold it in place? Is there some sort of retention screw or anything actually holds it down?

There is a locking clip at the PCIe slot, and then you should screw the part with the monitor connections into the back of your case.

The locking clip is the one that you press down on to take it out, right? Similar to how you lock in RAM?

Hmmm... I didn't see anywhere to screw anything in in the back. I'll have to take a better look.

You are correct about the plastic retaining clip at the slot.

There should be a screw or two right where this person's left thumb is:

There are two holes that normally held down the metal things that I removed to put in the card. The screws went in the holes, screwed in, but they don't seem very tight.

Don't clamp those screws hard, you'll strip them .... beware of aluminum cases !
