Access point failure

Hello, I have a wireless router (Sagem) and I'm trying to connect it to a Tp-Link WA801ND wireless access point (AP). I could connect the AP with the main network, but only wired. When I remove the cable between AP and router the AP cannot connect to the WEB. What I'm doing wrong?

You're trying to use an AP as a wireless bridge which doesn't work.
