Hi all,
Currently, I'm aiming for a new gaming/entertainment/developing/epic photoshopping build.
Though right now, I'm facing a CPU vs GFX dilemma: Which should I focus more my money on? AMD HD 6970 performs so well that it should also be a clever choice in long run but then I cannot afford Intel's CPU and socket 1155 mobo. Should I also change memory to Kingston ValueRAM to save some money? Is the performance difference that significant that I should put money to HyperX?
Here are the current specs:
Case: Fractal Design Define Mini (mATX)
Memory: 4 x 2048 Kingston HyperX DDR3-1333 CL7
HDD: 1000GB Samsung SpinPoint F3 (+ SSD: 80GB Intel X25-M G2 Postville)
CPU Cooling: Noctua NH-D14
PSU: Corsair HX750 Modular 80+
And then the CPU & GFX choices:
Candidate 1:
Mobo: Asus M4A88TD-M EVO/USB3
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 Black Edition 955/965
GFX: AMD HD6970 2GB
Candidate 2:
Mobo: Asus P8P67-M Pro Rev 3.0
CPU: Intel i5 2500K
GFX: AMD HD6950 1GB
