I built the following system a few months ago.

Asus Black 24X DVDRW
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB
[COMBO] Intel Core i5-2500K + Corsair Enthusiast Series 650TX PSU
Antec Three Hundred Illusion
Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 133
ASRock P67 Extreme4 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 SLI/Crossfire
HIS H695F2G2M Radeon HD 6950 2GB

The system works great and I love it, but whenever I plug any USB device into my front top USB ports the system locks up.

I plugged the front USB port into the USB 2.0 slot on the motherboard.

As long as the device is plugged into those ports when the system starts it's fine. It only locks up when I plug something in while the PC is on.

Thanks!

If the USB cable that plugs into your motherboard has separate connectors instead of a single 10 pin, it could be that you have the connectors on wrong. Your motherboard manual should show the pin configuration.
