More about what build 2500
  1. Looks great but WAY overpowered. 2 x 6950s will run fine on a 750w-850w PSU even with overclocking. If you just want to futureproof there is no harm in going with the 1000w unit but I would save the money.
  2. This Silverstone is supposed to be well worth it, and I'm always open to add another 6950 down the road. I'd better start saving up for my new electrical bill!

Update: I dumped the Revolution motherboard in favor of the Deluxe model.
  3. Yeah it's a great power supply that's for sure. You might actually need it with 3 x 6950s although you need to upgrade your monitor to need that! :p

  4. Hey, thanks for that thread! very informative and fun to read bro!

Yeah, I'm not going to crossfire them off the bat, I'm just going to try one for a while and see how it goes.

I just do hope I can do the little "magic" bios trick to them still.
  5. As far as I know you can still flash them.
  6. Looks great, especially the MX518 - Same mouse as me :P.
The 2 x 6950's is a tad overkill for most games, but as i see you are buying 1 first and then seeing if you need another one which is excellent if you want to save $$.
