Win xp in i5 processor

sir i have a vaio laptop having i5 processor. i want to install win xp. is it compactible??

Is the Intel® Core™ i5 processor compatible in Windows XP? Yes. Is the laptop that you have compatible in Windows XP for that you will have to check with Sony if they offer drivers for Windows XP? We have limited support for XP on “6” series chipset in that they are shipped “As-is” and there will be no updates for those drivers from Intel.
