You need a monitor with a Displayport input - and these dont have it.

1 of the three outputs from the ATI cards has to be DP (this is the Apple video connector). People use ACTIVE DP to DVI-D adapters to get around this - which cost close to $100 - with SOME success.

DP monitors seem to cost a little more than monitors without this port.
Whatever you do, do not use the passive DP to DVI adapters - they do not worl...

Good luck

Cool thanks for the info.

Does it matter if not all monitors are identical?

I assume ideally you would want exact same models to try and keep the colours as consistent as possible, but for the moment i am hoping to use two of the above mentioned monitors and another one with a display port.

I will definitely maintain the same monitor size between all 3. ie all 22 inch

Also, i've been told that the monitor needs to be able to handle high Mhz rates, otherwise you will get tearing. If this is true - will the 2208wfp screens suffice?

Cheers
