OSX not a chance, Windows you could, but why would you want to? From the specs i found it only has a 16GB hard drive, which is enough for windows 7 and a few word documents, it just becomes an oversized netbook and would be pretty slow with windows.

To play sim ant and some old 16 bit game's I got. I have a I7 pc with a 64 bit so no 16 bit. I saw a vid of mac os on a Cr-48, but it's likely fake.

I know some about pc's, but the CR-48 is an odd one.

A simple guide to installing Windows 7 on the Cr-48 is here:
http://cr48.wikispaces.com/Install+Windows+7

Windows 7 actually runs quite well on this computer. There's about 6-7 GB of space left on the SSD after a normal 32-bit install.

Mac OS X installs and runs, but video performance is currently an issue. A discussion of how to install OS X is here:

Can you put the guide on your post. I am not a link fan. 6-7 GB of space is good.

Why don't you try running your old games in a virtual machine on your i7 rig? Perhaps use DOSBox?

It would be difficult to post the guide here because it contains links to firmware and drivers that would be tedious to recreate.

There's a lot about the Cr-48 at http://cr48.wikispaces.com/ I think you'll be happy if you check out the link.

If anything I would likely put window's on it over osx. I think I would like to put xp or win 7 32 on it over doing vm. I did try doing that when I got the win 7 beta, but it used alot of ram.(2-3GB) It is some thing I will likely do one day, when I do my next upgrade.

P.S I miss the days when my now old rts game's would work right. (Most work in win 7 64, but can't do all the thing's they used to. I was playing C&C zero and could not beat it, becuase it would die when the USA fired it's lazer at this one spot and I had to play it in a fast rush to stop the USA from fring it's lazer. This is funney now that I think about it, but still.)
