Hi, I have a Sony Vaio Destop (VGC-RC210G) bought about 5 years ago.

I did make some changes, such as changing memory (2GB DDR2), New GPU (HD6850), and New PSU (Coolmax 600w).

However, my processor just can't handle recent stuff anymore (Pentium D 930, 3GHZ).

I would like to upgrade the processor, but prolly need new motherboard & memory since relatively new processors won't fit on my current MB.

Looking to spend about $300 or so. (Im thinking Phenom II X4 965, Kington 8GB DDR3, and ASUS MicroATX - big ones won't fit my case).

I would like to keep the system decent for another 3 years at least.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Also, I will upgrade to Windows 7 x64.

Thank you,
