recently i upgraded my pc and i not am having problems.

windows randomly stops responding and now when i click on the recycle bin for example it says " (exporer.exe) "there is not enough free memory to run this program. exit one or more programs, and then try again "

just upgraded video card and cpu

mobo: gigabyte Gama790x-ud4p
ram: ddr 800 (4 gb total)
cpu: amd 1090t @ 3.7 ghz at 1.472 v ( stays at 26-30 degrees C)
video card: amd 6850

ive seen a lot of people oc this processor to 4.0 ghz so i doubt thats the issue.

any ideas on what the problem could be ? thx!

it will be the latency timings on the ram, against the original over clock.

when over-clocking you have to balance the ram voltage as well as the CPU.

it would seem that the 4ghz speed is ok without changing anything else.

so you think that my ram isnt getting enough voltage? or its timings are off? thx

Best way to test to make sure this isnt a software problem is to enter the bios and revert back to factory settings.

See what happens.

We now have to start the process to identify at what point (if any) the over clock went wrong.

What is the make of your ram?
