Yup, it's that simple...
I have a Cooler Master UCP 700 80+ silver right now, should i upgrade the psu?
I'm not overclocking, but i have a rather loaded sistem...
i7 875k
8gb ram ddr3
Asrock p55 extreme
Noctua ND-D14
2 500gb hard drives
a set of cold cathodes
like...12 fans... i know it's an overkill...

What psu should i buy if the CM UCP is not strong enough?

From what i understand those cards take 400W in Xfire. Currently im doing the same thing with 2 6950's(flashed to 6970's) and im on a 750 Watt Sunbeam PSU. That should be plenty, but maybe someone else here will have better information.

oh, lol
:D
a single 6950 does very nice in almost every game, exepct in a few like metro.
As far as i know the scaling is phenomenal, that's why i want the second one =D

Flash that to 6970. You get a nice little boost while saving some money. Its very simply to do. Which brand did you go with? XFX?(i hope so)

sapphire flavor, it had the best accesories, and i got BC2 vietnam and drivercleaner free with the purchase =D
lol
I'm not sure about the flashing, i've read some issues with the timings of the ram and stuff, someone made some sort of script to unlock only the extra shaders without touching the ram.
Wich way did you do it?

I flashed using the 6970 BIOS. Went smooth. And if there are any issues, i can always hit the onboard switch to number 2 so i can load default BIOS or Flash it back since i exported the stock bios and saved it. But when i get home from work ill tell you the timings. But from what i seen is that certain brands fail or even cause artifacts after Flash. XFX sems to be the most stable brand that flash's without a problem. I have always been a XFX fan, i think they have the most reliable builds. I usually dont look for games and software that cards come with because chances are is that im buying my card for specific games and 99.999% of the time the game given for free is a game im not going to play.

Nice, good to hear your flashing was good =D
I used to have an XFX card, it was very good, reliable.
You were a fan of xfx when they were Nvida exclusive?
In my case i happened to like the sapphire card not only for the game, but the overall package. AND, it was my second ATI (AMD) card (First one was a 3650 or something like that lol).
