Palit GTX 460 Sonic 2GB benchmark

Hello,
i gotta question that i cant really find an answer to. I wanna buy a new video card, but not sure on if the 2gb Sonic will really improve my games compared to a 1gb Evga 460GTX SuperClocked EE. any helpful advice????

oh and my resolution for the time being will NOT be higher then 1280x1024 and maybe if im lucky in the next year or 2 maybe 1440 widescreen or 1600x1200. but polly no more then that. if that helps any with advice
