MOBO: MSI 870-G45 AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
GPU: 1GB Radeon HD 6850
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB 7200 RPM
PSU: Antec Earthwatts 650w

Trying to build a budget gaming PC. Only going going to play games like GTA, Mass Effect, etc.

Do I need to change anything? Is there a bottleneck?

Well GTA IV likes quad core processors. Your performance in that game would scale well with a quad core CPU. As would your performance in titles being built on more recent game engines, which are optimized for multi-core processors. I would suggest just getting a Phenom II x4 955 off the bat instead of trying to get lucky and unlock an x2.

What's your budget for this? What screen resolution will you be using?

The 955 is out of my budget. Right now, I have a low res monitor, but I'll get a 1080p later.

Also, I'm getting a case and DVD burner. That plus this is about $615. I'm trying to not spend any more.
