Sorry but I’m a complete novice, so if this question makes no sense I am sorry.
I’m looking to put together a cheap pc for my mum, she isn’t a hard core gamer but likes to play the odd game.
So with this in mind what sort of motherboard and processor would you go for?(it’s just to tide her over for maybe a year or two)
I have been looking at motherboards that support 775 socket set as I have an old dell precision 390 with a working processor in it (Intel core 2 duo 2.4ghz processor).
I just really want to know is there a better setup to go for? or will any 775 socket set supporting motherboard do?
